COMUNICADO
\n14 de Diciembre de 2006<\/p>\n
Buenos Aires, Argentina – En la sesi\u00f3n del 13 de Diciembre, el Honorable Senado de la Naci\u00f3n aprob\u00f3 el proyecto de Ley que declara el 24 DE ABRIL \u00abD\u00cdA DE ACCI\u00d3N POR LA TOLERANCIA Y EL RESPETO ENTRE LOS PUEBLOS\u00bb\u009d EN CONMEMORACI\u00d3N DEL GENOCIDIO SUFRIDO POR EL PUEBLO ARMENIO.
\nEl proyecto, impulsado por el Consejo Nacional Armenio de Sudam\u00e9rica, fue aprobado por unanimidad con 57 votos a favor y ninguno en contra, ratificando el compromiso del Senado de la Naci\u00f3n con las causas vinculados a cr\u00ed\u00admenes de lesa humanidad.<\/p>\n
La sanci\u00f3n de esta ley, reconoce el genocidio perpetrado por el Estado turco contra el pueblo armenio tal que resultaron v\u00edctimas m\u00e1s de un mill\u00f3n y medio de armenios entre 1915 y 1923.
\nLa comunidad armenia de la Rep\u00fablica Argentina agradece la solidaridad y el compromiso del Senado de la Naci\u00f3n, que viene a sumarse a los esfuerzos mundiales por la afirmaci\u00f3n de la verdad hist\u00f3rica y la justicia contra todos los cr\u00edmenes de lesa humanidad.
\nEl pasado 29 de noviembre, la Honorable C\u00e1mara de Diputados de la Naci\u00f3n hab\u00eda dado media sanci\u00f3n, con 175 votos a favor, ninguno en contra y 2 abstenciones.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
